Jimmie Johnson earned the pole at Bristol with a stout qualifying lap time of 15.540 seconds at 123.475 mph. Johnson took the low line and made it stick for his first career pole at Bristol.

David Gilliland shocked the field laying down the fastest lap early in practice and hold that top spot throughout the two hour practice session. NNS: Kyle Busch Wins the New England 200 at Loudon

The question of will the streak (of no repeat winners) be broken got answered today and it was a resounding YES!
Kyle Busch took care of that fairly easily and in his normal form was fairly dominant today in his #18 ZLine Toyota.
He also broke the record of most laps led by a driver in the NASCAR Nationwide Series when he led lap 8083.
It’s the 36th victory of his Nationwide Series career, tying him with Kevin Harvick for second on the division’s all-time win list. His sixth win of 2010.
