Sure Logano may in fact be the brightest star of NASCAR’s future someday, but even then he’d only be a microscopic piece of the brand new NASCAR Hall of Fame… That’s how big of a deal this place is.

The Hall of Fame itself is three floors packed with amazing pieces of NASCAR history, and amazing interactive attractions for fans young and old to partake in. I’m not going to lie, from the looks of it they have pulled out all of the stops.

NASCAR: NMPA Hall of Fame Candidates Announced

There are several halls of fame around the country dedicated to motorsports and the sport of racing. There is the upcoming NASCAR Hall of Fame scheduled to open in Charlotte, North Carolina, in May 2010. Another is the existing International Motorsports Hall of Fame at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, open since 1990. Then there is one hall of fame that has been around since 1965 and that is the National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA) Hall of Fame, located on the grounds of the Darlington Speedway Museum in South Carolina.

NASCAR Hall Of Fame: Update

The NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC is opening May 11, 2010. The hall is under construction off South College Street, near the Charlotte Convention Center. Organizers will launch a sales campaign this fall, including ticket and membership sales, and will feature the marketing tagline “Where the race lives on.”

The NASCAR Hall of Fame that is under construction and scheduled to open in Charlotte early 2010 has kicked off a Commemorative Brick Paver program. Yes, you too can have your own “exhibit” within the Hall inscribed with your witty pearl of wisdom you thought up all by your lonesome after about the seventh beer and the tenth wreck watching the Atlanta race.
