The View From the Superstretch
On July 5, 2008, DJ and I, and 150,000 of our closest friends, were witness to the pageantry of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway. Could the name be any longer? As a relatively new fan, I don’t remember when the race was simply known as The Firecracker 400 in honor of Independence Day. Somehow it seems like a much better name than the one that has morphed over the years into an entire sentence that barely fits on a t-shirt. Don’t get me started on the rolling commercial NASCAR has become. That’s a rant for a different day…
Slipper Still Fits
The slipper still fits for Kyle Busch. What a photo finish between Kyle and Carl Edwards last night. With NASCAR having to go to the scoring pods and video to tell who the winner was, Kyle comes out on top with yet another win.
I really feel that Kyle is trying to absolutely dominate this season [...]
