All Eyes On: Brian Vickers (Special Edition)
In the All Eyes On series, I usually share a personal story of the person I am profiling and spout off facts about their racing career.
But this one is special.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Brian Vickers announced he will be out the remainder of the season due to blood clots. While the reason is still unknown what was caused the blood clots, it is still a scary situation and we wish Brian a speedy and healthy recovery.
NSCS: Brian Vickers Will Miss Remainder Of Season
Brian Vickers has been dealt with some very tough news in the past few weeks. The driver checked himself into the hospital a couple of weeks ago complaining of chest pains, but he had no idea just how serious it really was.
Vickers had blood clots around both lungs and in his left leg. Friday Vickers dropped another bombshell in a press conference, announcing that his condition will keep him out for the remainder of the 2010 season.

NSCS: Darlington Fantasy Preview
Hello there everyone if you’re like me you have long ago given in to the Fantasy Sports craze. You put a great deal of thought and effort, to build your team just like you really owned a race team in real life. However finding information on who to select each week is very difficult, but welcome to the first edition of a new weekly series. Each week I will be breaking down past trends by drivers at each race track, and steer you in the right direction. I will also each week provide you with my actual team of drivers I will be using in my fantasy league.
NSCS: McMurray leads first practice at Richmond
Jamie McMurray lead the first NCSC practice session and Richmond International Raceway this afternoon with a lap speed of 122.427 mph. McMurray and the 1 team completed 39 laps in practice.
NSCS: Newman leads first practice at Martinsville
Ryan Newman was the fastest in the first NSCS practice at Martinsville turning a lap of 96.934 mph. Newman and the 39 team took 38 laps during practice.
Mark Martin finished second in practice with a speed of 96.859 mph. Martin was among the leaders throughout practice.
NSCS: What To Expect At Martinsville
Okay okay I know Jimmie Johnson won at Bristol, but other than that my predictions were pretty solid. This week I will not be making the mistake of betting against Jimmie Johnson as this is possibly his best track.
