It would be a shame for budweiser to bail out of the sport they're also not gonna be "The true American Beer" anymore. I feel that Khane don't bring the attention to they're product like my boy Dale Jr. did. It sucks for Khane, because with the economy in such strains now a days sponsorship isn't real easy to come by. I knew it wouldnt be the same without Dale Jr. on thier side.

I blame the InBev buyout on Dale Jr. myself because obviously Kasey Kahne ain't bringing in the marketing bucks like Jr. did when Budweiser sponsored him. Kahne doesn't strike me as a "manly man" drinking beer, especially when he's also doing double duty as being the cute ladies guy for Nationwide Insurance prancing and dancing all over the place!

NASCAR and ballet don't mix. Dig up one of my way back articles on that one.

Ok, now is this NASCAR being "fan friendly" by not having any political conflicts at its tracks or ISC specifically? I have been to several races over the past where there was one politician or another, especially presidential candidates, that were touted out as grand marshals or special guests. I was even there for the 200th win of Richard Petty in Daytona in 1984 when Ronald Reagan was attendance. I have pictures somewhere of Air Force One taking off from the tarmac at the Daytona airport behind the backstretch!

Now apparently, Brian France was shown as recently as January of this year touting Rudy Giuliani to the extent of his maximum monetary donation allowance. For the Daytona 500, Giuliani was driving around the track in a bus which had a big sign stating that "Florida is Rudy country."

I guess now that Rudy's gone, all bets are off so Brian can go pout in a corner, take his tracks and go home.

Well, Once again it looks like who the winner of this years RR pole will be. I know I put down beer for my winnings, but as most of you know that I don't drink anymore. I will host the picking party next year as for tradition. I would like my winnigs as the following. One 12 pack of beer of your choice to bring to the party for everyone to share and for my winnings a 12 pack of diet coke or diet mountain dew. If you do the calulation of the cost it will run you about $16.00. I fell this is pretty fair. Hope you all enjoyed another great season watching the Hendrick boys dominate the field again.

It's a shame that Microsoft couldn't be his sponser instead. That way, he could shill for the Xbox, have a black car with a big green X on the hood, and be known as Racer X!

How cool would that be?

Kyle Busch is outta there. One, his contract is up in 2008 so he was probably thinking of better offers elsewhere because second, he falls third in the pecking order as it is now behind Gordon and Johnson. He has shown lately to be visibly frustrated with how he is perceived to be treated at Hendrick. Texas is the example here.

He sure isn't going to sit around and drop to the fourth ranking team, despite what Hendrick says about there being no pecking order of teams. Besides, that gives Budweiser a great opportunity to reclaim the 25 when they used to sponsor that car for Hendricks in the 90's.

My question is how are those Talladega fans going to decide who to throw the beer cans at now?
