DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Dec. 11, 2009) – Because a week’s worth of award ceremonies in Las Vegas wasn’t nearly enough time to divvy out accolades, NASCAR Public Relations needs one more opportunity to dole out some final pats on the back.

It’s time for the “Third Annual Loopy Awards,” a ceremony commemorating the best – and worst – Loop Data performances of the 2009 season.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 22, 2009) – While the moon caused the longest solar eclipse of this century, NASCAR continues giving fans what they want: the best racing on the planet.

Last night, a solar eclipse lasting over six and a half minutes occurred on the other side of the planet. You’ll have to wait another 123 years for another eclipse that long; a similar one is scheduled for June 13, 2132. By then, four-time champion Jeff Gordon will have 642 wins – if he keeps up the pace he’s on now.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 17, 2009) – The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) today announced the members of the newly-formed “NASCAR Citizen Journalists Media Corps.” This group of new media consists of a range of professional and amateur experience covering NASCAR. One common theme is that each site is dedicated to providing information about NASCAR to a growing readership.
