NXS: Daniel Hemric Takes Dover Pole

on

DOVER, Del.  — Daniel Hemric won the pole for Saturday’s Bar Harbor 200 Presented by Sea Watch International in a shorted qualifying session Saturday at Dover Intentional Speedway.

Hemric’s lap of 158.249 mph out dueled Christopher Bell, Justin Allgaier, Spencer Gallagher and Brandon Jones.

The qualifying session was shorted to just one round due to track drying efforts following a late morning mist that overtook the track about 30 minutes before the session began.

Ryan Truex and Ryan Reed, who are both below the transfer cutoff to the second round of playoffs, will start 19th and 20th, respectively.
