MENCS: Team Penske Duo Leads Second Practice Session


DOVER, Del. – Team Penkse flexed their muscles Saturday morning in second practice ahead of Sunday’s AAA 400 Drive for Autism. Joey Logano led Brad Keselowski around the 1-mile track with a lap time of 22.858 at 157.494 mph compared to his teammates 22.864 (157.453 mph). Both times were posted on the drivers second lap on tack.

Third quickest was Martin Truex Jr. (22.923 at 157.048 mph), while Chase Elliott and Aric Almirola round out the top-five.

Jimmie Johnson, who leads all drivers with 11 wins at Dover, was thirteenth quickest while Paul Menard, who led opening practice Friday, was 14th.

Sunday’s pole sitter Kyle Larson was seventh on the speed charts with a lap of 22.954 at 156.835 mph.
