MENCS: Aric Almirola Leads Happy Hour Practice

DOVER, Del. – It didn’t take long into Happy Hour Practice for Aric Almirola to jump to the top of the leader board. On his first lap, Almirola laid down a lap time of 22.745 at 158.277 mph to lead the final practice session for the AAA 400 Drive for Autism.

Chase Elliot was second fastest while Clint Boywer was third. Both Elliott and Bowyer’s fast lap game on their first lap of the session. The ended up turning 53 and 65 circuits, respectively.

Fourth quickest was Sunday’s pole sitter Kyle Larson while Kevin Harvick round out the fast five.
