NCWTS: Crafton, Nemecheck Lead Truck Practices at Michigan


Matt Crafton and John Hunter Nemecheck each led truck practices Friday afternoon in preparation for Saturday’s LTi Printing 250 t Michigan International Speedway.

In the day’s opening practice, it was Crafton show the way around the 2-mile rack in the Irish Hills of Michigan. His lap time of 38.350 at 187.744 MPH was just a tad faster than Chase Briscoe’s 38.477 at 187.125 MPH. Grant Enfinger was third quickest with a circuit time of 38.490 at 187.062 MPH, while Ryan Truex (28.690 at 186.095 MPH) and Kyle Busch (38.719 at 185.955 MPH) round out the fast five.

In final practice it was Nemecheck’s 38.545 at 186.795 MPH that led the field on the speed charts. Johnny Suater was second fastest with a lap time of 38.571 at 186.669 followed by Crafton, Darrell Wallace Jr., and Busch.

Qualifying for the LTi Printing 250 is Saturday morning at 9:30 ET followed by the green flag dropping at 1:00 pm.
