NXS: Cole Custer and Kyle Benajmin Lead Practices at RIR

Cole Custer’s lap of 22.796 (118.442 MPH) at Richmond International Raceway was the fastest of all drivers in the opening practice for the ToyotaCare 250. Brennan Poole (22.921 at 117.796 MPH) and Ty Dillon (22.960 at 117.596) were second and third, respectively. Elliott Sadler an Daniel Hemric rounded out the fast five.

In the second practice, Kyle Benjamin was quickest at 23.061 (117.081 MPH). He was followed closely behind by Kyle Larson (23.168 at 116.540 MPH) and Poole (23.190 at 116.429). Justin Allgaier was fourth quickest while Dillon was fifth.

Qualifying for the ToyotaCare 250 is Saturday at 10:05 a.m., followed by the 250 lap race 1:00 p.m.
