DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.– Rain has slowed Preseason Thunder testing Thursday morning at the Daytona International Speedway for the first of four scheduled test sessions for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The rain stopped and started a few times in the morning to allow jet dryers and Air Titan to go on-track, but the rain would pick up and negate the drying efforts.

On Thursday morning, NASCAR said that they will adjust accordingly with what happens. The forecast for the afternoon session starting at 1 p.m. Et. calls for a 10% chance of rain and should allow track drying to get cars on track later in the afternoon.

You can watch testing live on Fox Sports 1 this afternoon from 1-5 p.m. eastern. If you are away from your television, you can watch via the live leaderboard on nascar.com.
