Martin Becomes True Chevy Boy

That’s right, Mark Martin, who ran so many years with Roush Racing, is truly a Chevy boy now. He tested the waters over at DEI this year and proclaimed that that was the best car he had ever driven. I know that put a thorn in the side of Jack Roush.

Now he is officially signing with Hendrick Motorsports to take over the #5 car from Casey Mears. He has truly turned to the dark side according to the beloved Ford faithfuls.

Moving to powerhouse known as Hendrick, gives Martin the ability to finally give the championship one last good run. Finishing up as the bridesmaid multiple times, Martin hopes to finally be the bride.

Martin is one of the last true gentlemen racers. I don’t know of anyone who does not have a great deal of respect for his personality and his ability. I personally want to do nothing but wish you the absolute best in your new team.
