Swap Points, Lose Integrity
I know that this is “technically” legal in NASCAR’s eyes, but this is the worst thing that NASCAR has allowed in the history of the sport. All of you know that I don’t agree with all the decisions that NASCAR has made over the past few years, but those are fixable and still respectable. Swapping points is not…
Hoffa Ready to Make Mark on NASCAR?
That’s right, there have been rumblings about forming a driver’s union on the NASCAR circuit. Now I am all for getting treated fairly, but lets look at what unions have done to the most important people, the fans of sports. Hockey and Baseball lost seasons as well as fans because they felt that a couple of million dollars a year isn’t enough to send you kids to college. Now like most fans…
Chevy Gets its First Win of Season, NASCAR Gets its Wish
Congratulations have to go to Richard Childress Racing (RCR) as they get the top three spots at Bristol Motor Speedway yesterday. Jeff Burton was in the right spot at the right time to pick up his first ever win at Bristol. This was a huge boost for RCR and the RCR Teams, showing not only that they have turned their programs around, but also that Chevrolet hasn’t been booted off the circuit.

Toyota Finishes 1 and 2 at Atlanta
Congratulations to Kyle Busch for his victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway. His victory marks the first victory in a points race for Toyota and the Gibbs Racing family. But that is not the only news from Atlanta. Tires became the rage among drivers all weekend long…
Now Available For Sale At NASCAR – Points!
Can’t compete in NASCAR? No problem, just cough up $50,000 for 100 points! Yesterday, NASCAR’s racing commission heard Robby Gordon Motorsports appeal regarding the penalties Robby Gordon received following inspections for the Daytona 500 race. The car had an “unapproved front bumper cover” which basically amounted to the wrong Dodge model name of Charger instead [...]
IROC Replaced By Sprint Cup
I find it ironic that IROC (International Race of Champions) files for bankruptcy the same year that NASCAR moves the Sprint Cup Series to the Car of Tomorrow, Today, or better yet, IROC car. NASCAR and it’s new penalties has basically replaced the ailing IROC Series. With the body styles, parity and forcing the issue of no [...]
