Well, after many weeks of deliberation and conflict between Speedway moguel Bruton Smith and the city of Concord, NC, Smith finally accepts the outlandish offer the city gives him to keep Charlotte (I mean Lowes) Motor Speedway (CMS) right where it is. As many of you know, Smith has wanted to add a Drag Strip to CMS to allow him to attract even more spectators to one of the crown jewels of the motor sports world by allowing NHRA to also become part of the illustrious lore of motor sports in North Carolina.

After much debate, bickering, arguing and downright ugly play, Smith has finally agreed to keep CMS right where it is.
