Finger Puts Montoya on Probation
Juan Pablo Montoya has definately had his issues this year on the track, banging into everybody who may be in his way, but NASCAR did not find those issues punishable. But at Phoenix last week, they did find his finger. Montoya got his first lesson in NASCAR, don’t make them look bad. You can make yourself, your teammates, your owners, your sponsors look bad, but not NASCAR. As they continue to promote being a family sport, if you raise you middle finger, you will be punished. Let’s see, that little gesture costs him $10,000 and he is now on probation. With Montoya being on probation, he might finally get nailed the next time he does one of his infamous “get out of my way” moves on the track.
Grow up Juan. If you want to be a part of this series, you have to act better. You might can be a prima-donna in the open wheel circut where you only run once every month, but here, week in and week out, you are in the view of the fans and NASCAR, and sooner or later they are going to put you in your place.
