Car of Tomorrow is Now Upon Us

Eight years ago the rumor came out that NASCAR would mandate a uniform car for all drivers and we at Rubbings Racing thought, “There is no way they are going to make this work.” Well here we are eight years later, and whether we like it or not, the Car of Tomorrow is upon us. Welcome to the new and improved IROC series formally known as NASCAR Nextel Cup racing.

But, since it is here, I suppose we must embrace it, because the France family has already said that it is not going away. So having said that, I thought I would post a link to a pretty good article that shows some of the differences of the Car of Yesterday and the Car of Tomorrow.

Tony Stewart states that the COT is a “basket of junk that drives like an old green Oldsmobile station wagon with the wood panel trim on the sides.”

I wonder how he really feels about it?
